From Tuesday 22 to Sunday 27 August 2023 it's time for the 13th edition of World Cinema Amsterdam, the film festival that has been showing the best films from Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean for more than a decade now.
The 13th will take place in the main locations Rialto de Pijp, Rialto VU, De Balie and Cinema De Vlugt. Outside of Amsterdam, you can see a selection of films in Rotterdam at LantarenVenster.
Besides the worldly competition films and the WCA Specials, this year's festival offers a focus program called Strong & Unwavering: Women of Iran, and a special program put together by Felix de Rooy.
